  1. Hi there,

I am looking for a keys/guitar player for my jazz quartet in the fleet/farnborough area. Is there anyone you could possibly recommend (including yourself).

We are looking for someone aged in their 20’s/ early 30’s who is comfortable reading chord/rhythm charts. The band backs a singer so is very mild and standards based.

It is a paid gig but as we are start up, it is just about getting the right people before we get bookings. We are degree trained musicians who have done jazz bands before so hoping to recreate that.

Above all else it’s about playing jazz with like minded people, having a laugh and getting the chance to practice jazz. None of us are purist and we don’t mind someone who is still learning so students are fine. It’s following charts so they/you can always learn their parts prior.

    Please let me know
